AGRIDEMA  Pilot assessments

The participants of the AGRIDEMA courses were encouraged to present their propositions on how to apply the learned tools. More than 20 proposals were received and some of them where selected to be supported by AGRIDEMA and were conducted during 2006.

The AGRIDEMA pilot assessments were aimed to introduce climate scenarios and crop-growth modelling tools to support decision-making in a specific local issue, where climate change could be a risk. Six of such assessments were located in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean area, five in Central Europe and three in Eastern Europe. The assessments were conducted using basically existing data.
